Off Pedngwinian with Poldhu Point in sight Just when I thought I couldnt enjoy myself more, it went and happened! This project has been like a breath of fresh air for me. Its been a very inspiring and exciting time and I have been totally seduced by this coastline new to me. And Im very much looking forward to getting to know it better. Rachael Mia Allen, September 2005 Rachael Mia Allen was born near Truro, Cornwall in 1974 and trained at Falmouth School of Art followed by Staffordshire University. Growing up in Cornwall fuelled her inspiration and her passion for the Cornish landscape that is evident in her paintings. Working in a self-taught technique using oil inks, oil paint and oil pastels, her subject matter is predominately Penwith, where the shapes of the landscape fall naturally into cliff, sand and sea.
