Long Fell Peter Clough trained as a Sculptor and Potter in the south of England and moved north in 1966 where he has remained ever since. He lives in Harrogate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales from which he derives inspiration for his recent work. “Landscape has always featured in my work in one form or another, and over the last few years I have become increasingly intrigued by relationships of earth and sky, changing weather, textures and colours and mans interaction with his environment. I have explored this in porcelain, and more recently I have also begun to develop some of these concerns through collograph prints.”
