introducing Over the past 8 years The Great Atlantic Map Works Gallery has exhibited paintings from a wide variety of artists: painters that include some internationally acclaimed names as well as painters fresh from their degrees on the first rung of their artistic career. We continue to offer a collection of work from well known and new artists in the gallery and this catalogue provides an introduction to a selection of artists who may not be new to painting but who are relatively new to the gallery. Whether this is the first time their work has appeared on our walls or if we have shown just a small amount of their work to date, we are delighted to promise that you will be seeing more of these painters’ efforts whether it be in future solo exhibitions or as a presence in forthcoming mixed exhibitions.
