kathy todd - homage Bryher, ebb tide oil on canvas 560 x 710mm   The Great Atlantic Map Works Gallery is pleased to present a new collection of paintings by Kathy Todd entitled “homage”. Kathy Todd’s paintings are truly inspired by and infused with the unique light, colour and tranquility of Tresco in the Isles of Scilly, her home for 11 years. Kathy trained in painting and design in Boston, Massachusetts and New York where she subsequently worked as an illustrator for Vogue, before moving to London in 1987. She has enjoyed very successful solo exhibitions at Gallery Tresco and the Air Gallery in London and she has also been invited to participate in the Florence Biennale in December 2003. This is Kathy’s first solo exhibition at The Great Atlantic Map Works Gallery.
