After finishing his studies he moved to West Dorset. His studio whilst there was a beach hut from which he recorded the changing light and atmosphere of Lyme Bay. He settled in West Penwith in 1992 and is drawn towards the simple minimalism of where sea and sky meet, making his point of interest the horizon.
