Red River, Gwithian Steve Slimm is from The Black Country in The West Midlands. Moving to Cornwall in 1970 via a sojourn in the Cotswolds, he joined an art group under John Miller and painting became a main interest in his life, with periodic encouragement from John through two decades. Turner and the Land remain the prime inspirations for his work, which is now far from realism, with an emotional intensity that is self-evident. His shows are always colourful, with most pieces hallmarked by a deep sense of mystery. Please call 01736 788911 or e-mail: gallery@greatatlantic.co.uk to reserve the painting of your choice. Paintings may be collected by arrangement or we can arrange delivery from as little as £20 depending on size and distance. Money back if not entirely satisfied (provided we are informed within 3 days of your painting being collected/delivered). Cheques and all major credit cards accepted. Colours may vary between the original paintings and the reproductions shown here. All paintings are framed .
