Martin Collins spent his childhood and early adult life in the West Country and lived near Falmouth for a while. He has worked as a college lecturer and has successfully exhibited paintings, prints and photographs in numerous galleries around the Midlands and North of England and with The Great Atlantic Galleries in Wales and Cornwall.

Martin has travelled widely throughout the UK and Europe and is a well known author of numerous walkers’ guidebooks to many areas of the British hills and the European Alps. The illustrations that Martin made for his books eventually led to his present concentration on painting. He now lives on the edge of Snowdonia, painting the coast and mountains of Wales and the cliffs and beaches of Cornwall to which he returns as often as possible. Smaller pieces are often painted direct from observation; larger pieces evolve back in the studio from notes, sketches and photographs. His work can be found in many public and private collections.

Paintings may be collected by arrangement or we can deliver from as little as £20 depending on size and distance. Money back if not entirely satisfied (provided we are informed within 3 days of your painting being collected/delivered). Cheques and all major credit cards accepted.
