Sarah Brown was born in 1962. She is married and lives in Bristol.

After a foundation year at Filton College, Sarah Brown took a BA Hons degree in Fine Art at Bath Academy of Arts in 1985. She works as a part-time graphic/web designer while developing her own artistic style at the same time. From an early interest in historic gardens, Sarah has worked to capture the effect of light and the elements on wilder landscapes from North-West Scotland to the distant reaches of Cornwall. The galleries that exhibit Sarah Brown’s work include The Royal West of England Academy (RWA), The Sadler Street Gallery in Wells, Innocent Fine Art in Bristol, Out of the Blue in Marazion and The Great Atlantic Galleries in St Just and Monmouth.
