The Great Atlantic Church Street Gallery is pleased to present a new collection of paintings by Stephen Rippington.

Stephen Rippington was born in Wimbeldon in 1952. After graduation from Art College he traveled extensively throughout Southern Africa where his passion for painting began. He has been selling his work since his return to Britain in 1980.

Moving to Herefordshire from Surrey in 1994, Stephen Rippington has applied himself to painting the greatly varied landscape that now surrounds him, “seeking out small corners; details that are often missed in the bigger picture, or the play of light on otherwise ordinary objects”. He has recently incorporated pastels into his work with watercolours and has also returned to painting on canvas.

Stephen Rippington exhibits regularly across the country and The Great Atlantic Church Street Gallery in Monmouth is very pleased to be showing his work.
