The Great Atlantic Arwenack Street Gallery in Falmouth is proud to present a collection of work by 11 Penwith Printmakers. Collectively they have produced work that represents the spectrum of printmaking media and techniques: etching, aquatint, drypoint, linocut, monoprint and screenprint. Several of these Printmakers - Gabrielle Hawkes, June Hicks, Adrienne Peverall and Lee Stevenson have shown at The Great Atlantic Map Works Gallery in St Just and at its successor in the town’s Bank Square, which used to be known as The Great Atlantic Print Gallery. John Howard has shown with us in Falmouth but Carol Lander, Jesse Leroy Smith, Denny Long, Liz Luckwell, Janet Lyle and Lyn Winters are new exhibitors. We warmly welcome this renown and much admired group of printmakers and trust that their work will enjoy the acclaim that it so richly deserves.
