After a career in graphics, Lyn moved from the Derbyshire Peak District to Cornwall to become a printmaker and textile artist. After taking an active role in several college courses, she discovered new approaches to these art forms, using texture and colour plates in a ”pattern book” process.
“Lino cutting, collagraphs and monoprinting are used to achieve a surface print full of these elements and finally to the press. It is an exciting place to be . . .”, she says
Lyn joined a printmaking workshop in St Ives and was invited to become a member of Penwith Printmakers and exhibit with both several times a year.
