The Great Atlantic Map Works Gallery

Steve Slimm was born in the Midlands in 1953 and upon moving to Cornwall in 1970, painting became his major interest. He credits the Cornish landscape “with its ever changing mood and light” as his main source of inspiration and he has enjoyed numerous mixed and solo shows. Steve has been exhibiting his work at The Great Atlantic Map Works Gallery since 1999 and will present a major solo collection of work there in 2005. “I work almost entirely from the land around me and my interpretations are taking on a richer and more personal meaning.”
