Dylan Thomas, from his Prologue to his Collected Poems
Andrew Giddens lives within yards of the shore at Praa Sands between Helston and Penzance. From his nearby studio, on the cliff above the beach, he has a commanding view of the great roaring ocean, constantly washing and wearing the rugged edge of this part of Cornwall. This collection of 10 watercolour sketches, several incorporating seasonal found objects, was made from his studio as the summer of 2007 drew to a close.
