After studying Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic, Paul Lewin moved
to St. Just-in-Penwith in 1989 where he stayed for an influential
ten years. He now lives in North Devon but returns often to the
inspirational surroundings of West Penwith, which remind him of
his developing relationship with the land through walking, exploring
and drawing the coastline. Pauls sensitive and well-crafted paintings
are infused with the light, colour and rich detail that this stretch
of landscape has to offer.
