Although art school trained, St Ives artist Paul Sims spent many years in the media industry and has just recently returned to a latter day career as a painter. This, the fourth exhibition of Paul's work at a Great Atlantic Gallery, continues last year's no nonsense theme of “Crashing Waves”. Having spent many years working in London, well away from the ocean, Sims now revels in the awesome displays of power and majesty around the shores of West Cornwall, particularly at Cape Cornwall and around Lizard Point.
