Originally from the West Midlands but now firmly settled in the Penzance area, Steve Slimm has been exhibiting his work in UK galleries since 1980 and has gained a significant reputation for his soulful painterly landscapes with their elusive air of mystery.

Among the influences on his painting, Steve cites Turner and the late John Miller, a prominent local artist, from whom he learnt a great deal. He has exhibited his work in many galleries all over the British Isles and his work is to be found on the walls of countless private homes.
