Brussels born George Weissbort has lived in Britain since the mid 1930s. and has been by drawing and painting since his childhood. He says that his work has been heavily influenced by Arthur Segal and the worker of past masters - Cezanne, Matisse, Mantegne, Titian and Vemeer. George, who lives in Gloucestershire, is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Royal Academy.
